Pressure injection - technology description

05 April 2024

Pressure injection is a technique used in construction to strengthen structures and seal leaking elements. It involves injecting polyurethane, epoxy, or acrylic resins under pressure into cracks, gaps, or porous areas in the structure. This allows for increased strength and stability of the object,

The pressure injection process occurs in several stages. Initially, the condition of the structure is thoroughly assessed, and the areas requiring reinforcement or sealing are identified. Then, the company Tech-Prus Sp. z o.o. prepares the work area by chiseling the crack, sealing it with a fast-setting material, alternately drilling holes for packers along the crack to half the wall thickness, and preparing the resins,

Pressure injection is an effective method for repairing and strengthening structures, which extends their lifespan and prevents serious damage such as corrosion of reinforcement at the leak site. This solution is used in many fields of construction, such as tunneling, bridge construction, or hydraulic engineering. Thanks to pressure injection, the quality and durability of structures can be effectively improved, which translates into the safety and comfort of users of construction facilities.
